For Six Years, the PHSTC organized a free tree planting event for a Penn Hills residential street each spring and fall to add beauty to the neighborhood, benefit the environment, and increase our residential property values. However, as of 2024, after having planted 133 trees within 9 planting projects, we have replaced the Front Yard Tree Project (FYTP) with a “Penn Hills Free Tree Adoption Event”.
